Bhadra Thotath
Bhadra Kaushik is a self-made artist who has specialized in Kerala Mural paintings. By qualification, she is a post graduate in physics but has always held art very close to her heart since childhood. Her love for art was passed on to her from her father as she grew up watching him paint. This only reinforces the fact that art is a part of her genes. However, she went on to learn her basics in mural painting from Sri Dileep Swastik who is an artist at “Guruvayur Mural Painting Institute’. With firm conviction and love for the field, she has begun her journey in making art her profession by beginning art classes for both kids and adults at Oakgrove community center. Rather than recreating original paintings, she is now focusing on building new themes and painting from her own imaginations.
